Last Sunday in May, for the http://www.gavsweathervids.com/ summer update.
Just bank on it being wet 'n windy!

Before you keep on printing these fanciful weather prognostications, perhaps you might look here to see what is likely - or unlikely - to happen?

Everything so far is a load of toro's sexual organs, and the above site, nearer the time, might provide at least an idea as to what might happen. No guarantees though!

It does not matter to me as had everything thrown at us at Le Man, got burnt like a lobster and wet through, tents like a sauna or freezing cold at night, dug channels round them to divert the rain, found them half blown away in the middle of the night, but we still keep going, how can you miss the greatest race in the world
One thing for sure I will get wet on the inside

I don't give a monkeys if it's rain or sun. It's the effing wind that drives me nuts. And you can guarantee there will be a stiff SW breeze with occasional gazebo toppling gusts.
Bear that in mind when pitching up. Ie put your tent door facing NE to stop rain and dust blowing in. And pitch gazebos with walls (if you have then) with a corner facing SW as a wind break. Don't wait till the wind picks up before deciding those pieces of string at the corners could do worh replacing with rope.
We've learned the lessons over the years and stopped buying £80 gazebos that get destroyed every year. Gone up to a Galatent with ground bars and 12" stakes to hold it down. 4x4m is a nice size as mess tent and kitchen.

Practice day today; Practically a drought here for several weeks yet rain is forecast for today then up to 33C next week without a cloud in sight. Wouldn't you just know it!
Mind if we rely on you for the weather? My current forecasts just mention cloud, rain & thunderstorms for the 10th onwards, with a high of 25c, at the most!Any/all updates appreciated!!
I'm afraid I am no weather guru, but if you look further up at my previous post you'll see where I get the forecasts from. The weather station for that is alongside the aerodrome, so next to the circuit. At the moment they are forecasting damned hot this following week but 28C on the 8th and 9th but with - you guessed it - thunderstorms. It is the start of Le Mans week, so it is to be expected
