I have a friend who's planning on taking a motorbike (possibly with other biker friends) and I'm after advice on where to camp.

As far as I'm aware all the ACO sites require a camping pass for each vehicle which makes it damned pricey.

Can you get away with buying a parking ticket for Parking Blue and camping there? or are there better alternatives?

Any advice greatfully appreciated

club motorsport have secure storage for all of your gear - they will even let you put it on the coach in kent and have a free ride down to the campsite where your luggage will be delivered shortly after. saves you having to carry it all down.

The first time I went on a bike (5 yrs ago) I didn't have a ticket, but still managed to camp in Houx Annexe, alledgedly

Then it does help to have mates already inside who can distract the gaurds ;-p

Or so I'm told, ahem

I've camped in Bleu, Maison Blanche, Beausejour, Arnage and Rouge with a motorbikes, and I've never had any problems at all. I don't think there any campsites which would present any problems. Enjoy.

Also, you can normally "share" a ticket between a few of you without too much hassle.
