We've some silliness in our group where we're all called Alan, and since 2 of us are taking white estate cars, they've become Alanbulances!

I've had some funny looks whilst commuting the last 2 mornings.... heading west to LM tomorrow morning.
Brilliant!

Yer my clutch went on the way back to BJS in heavy traffic won't engage 1st gear and then wouldn't start, spent 3hrs waiting the RAC. It's now in a compound waiting to be repatriated

Still no hire car as a replacement yet

Seen this on the back of a low loader in arnage today around lunch time nothing serious I hope
Thanks. Got a sticking throttle cable as we came through Rouens. Stuck at min 3000RPM and more if I put foot down. Relay said they wouldn't collect us from motorway, had to be police first. Decided to limp it from Rouens to LeMans which worked OK until we hit the horrendous traffic in LeMans. 3000RPM in sunshine and traffic then blew the radiator fan! Lots of swearing and steam! Limped through remaining st traffic by turning off engine everytime we stopped! Made it to Sud North by 11ish. Next day relay came, took it to the garage in Arnage who replaced the cable. We then fixed the fan ourselves with a mountain of WD40 and a lot of chin stroking. Got home OK and didn't disturb race day so all turned out OK!

Cheers, I think....
Well, on Friday's Driver's Parade, Mark Webber took great delight in signing our "Multi-21" sign for us, and laughed his arse off when he turned it over and it read "Seb's a !" thumbup

Saw the van maybe 3 lanes across from us waiting for the ferry on Monday - very good! Also recognized a number of other vehicles from this and the "what are you driving" threads throughout our stay including the Furore mock Red Bull single seater filling up at the pumps just outside LM on the way back.

TY, the "7" was a Striker, 15 years old & still going strong - the drive back up in the pouring rain on Monday was, eeerrrrm - interesting!

If anyone got any pics of my car round & about at Le Mans copies would be much appreciated!

Sorry I didn't take a picture as I was too busy arguing with our useless navigator about actually doing some navigation!!

Feel sorry for you on the drive back, it was unpleasant in the van and we were dry and sitting above the spray, must have been horrendous for you guys and also the bikers we saw!

Did you see what guy in the Citroen people carrier eek
wavey

Not sure what his problem was, nobody was going anywhere fast. He must have been late, but so was everyone. We started betting on how long it would be before he had a heart attack! He was also lucky not to have his teeth handed to him, driving like a tool.
