Well

Unlike last year, where I thought Toyota were cruelly denied a deserved win.... Porsche have earned this. Lost over an hour, 3 hours in and almost dead last with 19 hours to go and its come home first. Good show.

GTEPro... oh my word. 3 minutes to go and they're all over each other like white on rice. Epic stuff.

What a finish. Well done to Porsche, well deserved this year.

Feel a little sad for Corvette though there! What an ending again, crawling past the checkered flag with no tyre and a bent alloy, legendary stuff.

Great work by the LMP2 class too, they had the reliability.

Porsche won because they had the best car its hard to argue with that especially at LE Mans.
Judging by the weather I think all those who made the journey will have had a memorable week (lucky sods).
I always think Le Mans heralds the real start of summer sport and what a way to start it.

A superb race.

Yes I caved in at 12;30 am too much beer I think but back on it at 7am. (Feeling truely fruity now in the garden)

Aston Martin brilliant ditto Corvette just what you want to see. This is entertainment unlike F1.

Something every hour - at least those I was awake or not obliged to do something different. And the end was edge of the seat stuff.

Went out for a comfort break when the #2 Porsche was 35 mins adrift. Came back only to find it in shot with it being shown as Leader. I nearly threw a strop. Then realised it was the leader in P1.

I don't think they should make the French director stay up for 24 hours.

Every year I think this, but every year I also think that I wouldn't have a clue what's going on and would miss seeing all of the action in the 18 or so hours I normally watch at home!

I guess it's the experience at the expense of properly following the race.

You lose the following views of the cars, but gain the atmosphere, the noise, the spectacle of being sat at Arnage watching cars dicing under braking just metres away. You can get a great info feed from the radio too - so you don't miss out too much. It's a *must* visit - the best thing car wise I've ever done. cloud9

we went last year, but didn't go this year due to buying a house.

Words cannot describe how much I regret that decision! You can keep up with the race with LeMans Radio and the TV Screens around, plus the atmosphere is amazing!

I'll be going next year and will probably never miss a year again now!

Given LeMans is eurosport's biggest motorsport race I don't understand why they keep the same shambolic commentary team. I sort of get pitching everything at a total novice level but the constant silly mistakes, scatter gun approach and endless slating of F1 is a massive turn off. Especially with ITV4 showing (part) of it live and online feeds.
