We have been to CBW after the morning pit walk so not too busy by then.
Does anyone know what time the pitwalk is? Is it open to anyone with normal admission tickets?

Official timetable says Friday pitwalk is 1000-2000, open to all ticket holders.

I see that it opens at 9am. We're going in an R8 - what time should I aim to get there to get into the show parking and how long do most people spend there? We're going to the drivers parade later - will there be time to go to the actual circuit on the Friday at some point (for the pitwalk or to drive a road section of the track), or will this be attempting too much?

This is my third year so a more seasoned veteran may pitch in, but the closer you can arrive to 9:00 the easier it'll be to get in. Worst time to arrive is 10:30/11:00 I'd say. There's loads to see and food/drink, so you could leave around midday and have plenty of time to get back to the circuit and then head into town later on for the parade.

Depending on where you're staying, you could drive to the MMArena and park up there, then walk into the circuit as there's an entrance opposite the arena. You can then get the tram next to the MMArena into town for the parade, and then catch it back out later on to pick up your car. I haven't actually done this, but our Premier Vert campsite is here so it has really easy access into the circuit and into the town on the tram. Someone with more experience might offer better advice but I hope that helps!

One of the best car shows i have been to. Stunning machinery. No chavs, traffic fine, village location stunning. Trammed it from circuit, no 20 bus to village. Spent a great 4 hrs..
where else would you get the new 720s mclaren with loud orange paint getting lgnored at times. This is a more of a reflection on rhe interesting collection of cars present.

Easy to get in and out this year. Very little queuing

Nice selection of cars and mine was ushered into the super car section , only Ultima I saw at the show.
