OK road bike I assume or off road?
I can point you to lots of good routes for both.
Road really, my dad and I will have bikes with us. I know the Porsche curves is usually fenced off with some flimsy looking barriers but obviously they don't want people going past that point. If you can get past that point without running into trouble I'd be keen to know

You should be fine if there isn't a practice coming up. Friday would be your best bet

Although I have not kept up with my training this year, TL have a run from their campsite inside the Tertre Rouge bend Friday morning 8:30.
We do the full track. Through the Porsche curves and up the start/finish straight and back to Tertre Rouge.
It is open to all and the winner gets a TL 2017 Tee shirt as a momento.
I am planning on coming last. Again...........

I did a 10k yesterday and it would seem that 8 miles is another 3k on top so in theory i should be around same 80-90 min mark, assuming I can drag myself all the way to TR for that time in the morning!

hoping to do it again this year

Sounds interesting, what time does it start usually, and do you need to pre-register or just turn up and run ?

Oh I am very interested in this! Is the 0830 run definitely on? We have an AirBnB booked a good bit away from the track so my idea would be to run to the track, do the loop and then run back to the accommodation before getting back later on for some..errr.. "rehydration". That's if the boyfriend can do it without fading.

Don't forget there is track action all day on Thursday rather than just in the evening.

I'm keen to do the run too - different way to see the track, and build up an thirst for later in the day!

I will definitely be doing it with my boyfriend so you can count on us being there ready for an 8.30 start. Actually almost as excited about the run as I am about the race... ;-) It will be hot on the Friday so will be an interesting run.

Team Langoustine (TL) camp site is located behind the infield spectator banking at Tertre Rouge (TR) I think...
