No, it's one of those brilliantly negotiated one-way agreements so only applies to Brits abroad but not EU cars over here!

2+ pages and no mention of the MOT Certificate?
always take mine,and leave in car, easier than running around to get 'em, at least in UK you can nominate Station.
French Police tend not to, or appear not, speak English but the Belgians are another matter, they all seem to speak English and do check all Docs thoroughly
