So got in this year, parked where we have always ended up, got in and out nice and easy great event ,but...
Left wondering why registered for PH parking as we were told by a PH bod when we rolled up 'stick it there they have cocked up our parking '. Other than the flappy PH flag that was the only PH presence we noticed or interaction with PH persons .
What was the problem if there was one ?
We enjoyed ourselves far more than the last 2-3 times as the access and exit worked ,and the cars on display where as interesting as ever.

Same here...

The officials were still trying to pick off the more interesting cars. our groups Spitfire got caught early on. They even tried to catch my Range Rover (which is nothing special...).

PH staff much like on here - mostly invisible.

We had 3 cars in our group - a 911, a full fat Volvo V60 Polestar & a new Disco 5. The Volvo was wheedled out initially as not being suitable for parking within & it was only on getting out of the car & having a word with a marshal with the PH pass in hand, that they reluctantly let it in - IMO last years parking was much more preferable as it was easy in/out & also prevented such issues.

However, on balance it was a good event & not plagued from what we saw by horrendous queues on the way out that we'd seen in previous years.

very nice. love the sleeper nature of the polestar - long may that continue

I was in the Grey Range Rover aka the Tank. There was some discussion on the cars used. Next year it may well be a grey f10 M5 and a french racing blue Jag XKR R-S which is owned by my passengers.

my wife still thinks the pistonhead on the back window is part of the dealer sticker on her Range Rover!

I went once, several years ago, got refused entry in the XKSS. It was 9.30, no staff around it seemed, so had a chat with the organisers of the GBW whoI mostly know and then went home. I don't go to St. Sat now, finding it a pain leaving.

We arrived at decent early time this year, waved in and parked up on the grass to the left which was nice. left around 12.30 and didn't have any difficulties getting out either. The whole event just felt that little bit better organised that previous years.

As Mustdash said, yes! You copied our different parking thread on the PH campsite with the "Tank" thumbup We were admiring the flame throwing abilities of the Cerb & hoping quietly (no pun intended) that it wouldn't detonate itself
