The track display on Friday between the pits and Dunlop bridge is usually pretty good from memory. Not this year,it looked like someone had forgotten to sort any cars out so so just grabbed a selection of official vehicles, oh and a couple of go Karts.Anyone else think it was a bit rubbish ?It wouldn't have been so bad if they'd opened the cars up to show the equipment they carried.

I was more pissed off that I could not get off the bridge at Dunlop and had to walk all the way back...

Our thoughts were the same - years past they had either brought some cars in to display or used support race cars - on enclosure was being gaurded with nothing in it! I can only assume it was for the trophy at some point ?
Maybe the new contract with BMW for circuit vehicles meant they where obliged to use them to get some rep?

There was a trophy there when I went.

Yeah, pretty annoying set up.

Also why no logic of a one way system for the open pit lane?

In one end and out the other. No need for a lot of people to walk back against the flow and it would ease things a bit.

On topic of underwhelmed, the 'super car' display on the drivers parade was pretty weak this year. Won't be doing drivers parade again in a long time. Such long gaps between some sort of activity going past, just not worth the time needed to get in, get a spot beforehand and then hang around.
