Le Mans Legend Café closes its doors
Discussion
Not a real surprise, it being in a rough part of town, and I never saw that many people there, but still a big loss in my eyes. So after the Union Jack went belly up a few years ago (that was close to the Legend café, so also in the rough part of town) and now the Legend café, where does one go for a drink in Le Mans?

Mulligans gets my vote
Always busy and fun, loads of people in the street on Friday evening having a laugh and many beers
Legends didn't deserve to remain open, IMO. Expensive and rubbish.
I don't know, at least it celebrated the cities race heritage, ignored and taken for granted by most of the city's other businesses IMO. Always busy when we visited (and we never went during 24h Week). Nice, large place that could accommodate large tables for car clubs etc so will be missed.Always busy and fun, loads of people in the street on Friday evening having a laugh and many beers

Mulligans?
i 'think' the owner of the Union Jack also owned another bar in town? possibly the Legends? or maybe even Mulligans?
Not quite. He used to run The Lodge pub then set up the Union Jack himself. Very sad that it failed and a real pity the Legends has now gone too.i 'think' the owner of the Union Jack also owned another bar in town? possibly the Legends? or maybe even Mulligans?
