Which campsite? On Houx the rangs seem to be 2 columns of 10 (some more/less), column 1 numbered: 1-10, and column 2 numbered 20-11, with places 1 and 20 next to each other, as are places 10 and 11.
If your rang consists of 28 places, ie. 2 columns of 14 places each, the numbering will be 1-14, and 28-15. Then 15 will be next to 14, 16-13, 17-12, and 18-11.

On this (old!) map rang 3 indeed consist of 28 places (although the numbering is different, and not all places are used) so if you're on Houx, the ACO might not have stiffed you

I stayed on Houx this year and whilst I had meant to take a note of the pitch arrangements, I completely forgot.
