Day Tickets

Im seeing family down the road from LeMans next year and would like to go to the race just for the Saturday - is it possible to just rock up and get a ticket on the day, or is there anywhere I can get day tickets/parking from beforehand.

Not been since 2009, and taking the wife for the fist time....I think a day will be enough for her!

You can rock up on the day and purchase a general entry ticket on the gate, parking might be a problem though as this tends to be sold out before hand - I have always booked in advance but others might have experience of parking without pre booking.

Probably best bet is park up somewhere away from the track but near the tram, go to the MMA arena at the end of the line and decent sized ticket office/entrance very close to the tram stop...

Yes you can buy a GE on the day, i think you can also buy a sunday only ticket if you decide to go on sunday rather than saturday. If you get the tram, there get of just before tertre rouge and use that enterance, within a few minutes of getting off the tram you will be watching the cars.

If it were me I would go on Sunday. Whilst you will miss the start you can get a Sunday ticket for €50 on-line, whilst if you go on the Saturday you pay, I think, for week's ticket at €82 each. I assume that you can book parking just for Sunday, but I couldn't check because my iPad isn't talking nicely to the ACO right now. Here's the link to the ACO's ticketing website:

Whatever you do, have a great time. In my opinion Le Mans is one of THE great events. I'm trying the Classic next year for the first time.
