I"m trying to buy tickets for Le Mans, via 1st tickets, no answer to phones, no return of voicemail, no response to email, finally spoke to someone who seemed really confused by my request of wanting tickets to Le Mans, promised a call back, never materialised.
Finally spoke to someone on friday, helpful, knoweldgable and all set up, promised to send payment details in an email... nothing, and now we're back to not answering the phone.
Is this a real company or am i getting slowly scammed?

Brian who runs 1st Tickets is a top man Pistonheads also use him for their camping Le mans trips. Leave your details, they will get back to you.
Brian is also on the forum known as "Chum racing"
Just look at the sticky on the top of this page Pistonheads goes camping
Brian is a small company and as with all small companies, sometimes people go sick or are ill. or have a holiday. They will get back to you.

Hi guys, this is Brian from 1st Tickets.
Apologies for the radio silence for the past few weeks. Unfortunately my Father passed away suddenly and I have been away from the office to support my mother and family with the funeral, etc. Caroline was also off on annual leave during this period, so I had no option but to close the office for close to two weeks.
We are now both back in the office and are making our way through a backlog of emails and enquiries so please bear with us.
There may still be odd days where you cannot get hold of us, but you will still be able leave a message with our answering service. One of us will come back to you as soon as we can.
Many thanks
Brian

Has anyone heard anymore from 1st tickets? Does anyone know if we will get a list of items that you cant take onto the campsites (premier vert) I notice a few guys on another thread were talking about no beer or bottles?
Have you tried contacting Brian directly yet using either his PH alias via the forum (chumracing) or by email directly to info@1st-tickets.co.uk (or alternatively caroline.kirby@1st-tickets.co.uk)? - I had an email off Brian late on Friday last week about a booking query. I understand from confirmation I had when I paid the final instalment that they were planning on issuing the packs to clients in May and I'm sure will cover the details of such things when issuing all the other info).I've had a few email conversations with them over the past week. I think they are busy sorting payment stuff out but I'm sure they will answer emails or just give them a call.
We had a coolbox stuffed with wine and beer that we took on to the main 1st tickets site on BN with no issues last year. No cars were searched as far as we saw.

You tend to get all that info in the pack Brian sends out in May with the tickets etc. Alternatively, if you cant find the info out on here, try Beermountain. They search the cars every year for beer bottles in Houx, usually Wednesday is very strict, but by Thursday afternoon when we get there they are bored.
Im another happy 1st tickets customer btw, coming up to 10 years now i think
Sorry to hear about your loss Brian.

Just to add a +1 to it. We go separate as we've got our own amenities covered, but when I take my daughter for her first in a couple of years, I'll be using Brian. He's an absolute Sir and you won't be disappointed with the setup/quality. 101% not a scam.Edited by JT3K on Wednesday 18th April 10:10
Its not no beer, It is Glass that is the problem. That includes Wine bottles.
Cans are fine, so are wine boxes. But don't be stupid and pile it all up on the rear parcel shelve or directly on top of everything in the boot.
Just hide things away. so that it is not blatantly on display.
If your campsite is off circuit, rucksacks will also be searched as you enter the circuit, this is for two reasons, Bottles and Terrorism,
France is on High alert too.
