Really a route that I have to run. I'll try to start. But what happens on Thursday evening? Expected end time 1 hour 20.

1 hour 20 mins is a bit slower than the normal lap time for what will be going around the track on Thursday evening.

Joined in with this run for the last two years. Always very friendly and a range of abilities welcomed. It's been ok as a runner getting past the barriers and through onto the Porsche curves and onto the closed part of the track but think bikes would be turned away.

Curious to know whether there is an official TL course record for the lap?
Sub 1hr would be decent

I’m in! Just need to be sensible on Thursday
"sensible on Thursday" Is that actually possible at Le mans? I always say to myself to take it easy on the Friday evening, one beer leads to another, then the wine comes out and its all downhill from there biggrin
How I find my tent I really have no idea? biggrin

I reckon an hour would be pretty frisky too. Last year I clocked the lap as 8.82 miles - including the short stretch from TL campsite along Chemin aux Boeuf to get to and from the track. Allowing for a bit of stoppage time to cross the roads and ticket scanned by the guys on the gate that means an average pace of around 6:40 per mile. Anyone likely to be having a go?

+1. Might actually give me a reason to go out and start training again if there were?

That’s my half marathon pace so I should be able to manage if I had the chance

That sounds fun assuming I can be up and around at that time.
Did 10 kms with Fido this morning so reckon I can manage another couple of miles (assuming 9.30 per mile isn't too slow).
Exactly where is the meeting place?

Hey guys a couple of us from tertre rouge may be up for this. To save much confusion any chance you can post a pic or link to maps for the meet spot please. We managed by fluke to cycle it a few years back and so a run is on the cards surely! I'm happy enough to tick over and take in the fun 😄

Sadly I won't be running a lap this year as I'm recovering from an ankle injury.

Disappointed not to be able to as I did it last year on Friday morning with one of the guys in my group and it's well worth doing. I hadn't appreciated just how much camber the road has at Indy. We also came across a couple of the race teams out and about - Toyota were at the first of the mulsanne chicanes examining the curbs.

We got stopped by pit-out, but managed to blag our exit from the track down the as yet un-opened to the public pit lane while all the teams were working with the garage doors open. Private pit lane walk cool

Anyone going there from Bleu Nord?
Yup - two of us. One a runner (he'll be off like a greyhound) and me with my borked knee limping around. No one else in our group can be convinced. The proposal was met with a mixture of derision and blue language.

Is it worth setting a meeting time and point from Bleu Nord?
