I am up for this - camping in yellow so will have to leave quite early to meet up with you guys at the TL campsite. If anyone else from yellow wants to do this run let me know and we can make our way up together.

After they gave out gongs on the Sunday loads of people were on/walking the track, we're bringing long boards to skate it (easier to drink beer).

What about after the race also? Lots of carbon fibre shards to trip and get skewered on and everything!!
Beers!

Is this happening this year or does anyone know if it’s possible to run the track on your own?

Thanks again to the TL crowd. Yet again another very friendly Friday morning run of the track. This is becoming a bit of highlight of the trip each year.

Who timed it? Any problems running past the pit area and over Dunlop bridge?

Three of us were the first to finish in just over 1 hour 7 minutes. We ran the whole track as did the next 4 or 5 finishers that I saw. Walking back I bumped into a couple of runners who had been diverted off the track by marshals.

Thanks for organizing this once again TL and great company on the way round from oily mist and Bencrouch25.

I am glad it worked again. I was detoured around the paddock and back in at the pit exit. Absolute ACO nonsense.
They even posted someone in the middle of the track to stop us.
We ended up doing 14.5K with all the messing around behind the pits.

Was still a very nice way to spend Friday morning at LeMans.
Looking forward to getting to the start/finish straight before they close it next year.

I think my Brother was the last group through so upto about the first 7 or 8 finishers I would guess got through.

In the end I ignored my 7.30 alarm and made my own way round at 10.30 from Tertre Rouge to the start of the pit lane. Still very enjoyable and not a bad warm down as I walked back to camp via the Village area.

Thanks for organising this! I managed to get all the way round, couple of the b iukes got turned away just after the pits near the cars on display under the event shelters on the way up to Dunlop.

This was definitley one of the top highlights of the wekend for me! I even ran the chichanes 😁.

I've been wanting to do this for ages so very pleased to be able to get the whole way round. It really gives a proper feel for the track.

Did it in 1:11 with a total of 14.46km taking into account in and out of the campsite (and taking a wrong turn at the end to get to the finish point!) including a few stops for some pics on the way round.

Thanks again and looking forward to doing it again next time I'm there!

Cheers!

Yes! I’m on the TL site - no idea if there is anything ‘official’ being organised but I’m happy to plod round at a steady pace.

Would prefer an early(ish) start - any time from 07:30 I guess.

Weather permitting, obvs laugh

Last year you could run it when the track was open to the public but you need a GA ticket as you 'leave' and then 're-enter'

I did this years ago at Yas in Abu Dhabi ,runners /cyclists and just families out for a stroll.

Didn’t cost anything you just had to register beforehand and away you went ,2 things stick in my mind from it and that is the kerbs on the apex are actually quite high and peloton cyclists are very fast….eek

This. The schedule says 9am so you wouldn’t want to be trying to run around the track anywhere close to this time. https://www.24h-lemans.com/en/program

Mulsanne car show from 2pm and track open in pits/grandstands from 2.30pm (but was 20 mins or so late last year)
