Wonder if they will push harder now and catch the sister car back up?

They're going to have peg back the lead Toyota if they are going to give Alonso the win that he wants.

It's scary. It's also silent as they start on battery power and then kick in the ICE. Always catches me out!

What scares me is just how fast that TVR Rebellion is... and it's still loads slower than the hybrid LMP1 Toyotas eek

It's a very good package built off good foundations. Was reliable right out of the box.

Also since when have the top of the tyres been exposed? Or have I just never noticed before

A few years now. They were covered with perfunctory vents which got less and less substantial, then a couple of years ago all pretence was abandoned and they were just open.

Normally it all goes wrong for Toyota after midnight which one will fail first.

The size of hole is given as a minimum in the regulations. It’s to reduce pressure in the wheel arches to try and stop cars getting airborne.

Will we now see the 8 pushing hard to close the gap, and the 7 doing the same to keep it?
