Le Mans 24hr Race Thread
Discussion
took a couple of hours off yesterday afternoon to play tennis, but other than that have been on the sofa watching with my 10yr old son all night (well he's mainly been snoozing but...) - just had my "father's day" freshly cooked waffles & bacon delivered
Currently I think "dollarShaveClub" is 1st and "vanorama" is a close 2nd - nope sorry that's just EuroSport's utterly dire adverts & 'no-rotation' policy taking it's affect
Good race, enjoying more emphasis on GT classes given the lack of LMP1 'big boys'
But best of all is the Rebellion TVRs looking utterly awesome and in 3rd & 4th !

It really isn't Toyota's fault that nobody else turned up.
To wish them to fail is rather churlish. Especially given their history at Le Mans. They've earned this

Especially after what happened to them a few ago. They’ve been doing this a while, they deserve it.
Impressive that Rebellion is back up to 4th after binning the nose off it at the first corner

Tell me about it! You'd think they would have a bit of variety. In fairness, it was a number of hour before Vanorama came in, but even so the variety is nonexistent

Everyone else enjoying this display of high speed French road repairs? Lol at the guy setting the new tarmac/concrete with a leaf blower!

Don't forget the Coral ad, the one that was mildly amusing the first time but 678 repetitions later begins to grate...In fairness, it was a number of hour before Vanorama came in, but even so the variety is nonexistent
The posters wishing failure upon Toyota: why? Do you think it's somehow Toyota's own doing that the rules favour hybrids, and/or that the other manufacturer teams who previously ran hybrid LMP1s decided against entering this year?

Just remember the adds make the full showing of the race possible! So thank them!
I have no problem with this and never said that I did. I just think a bit more variety / rotation wouldn't go amissMountain Man said:
The Toyotas are doing notably quicker average lap times than they did last year in basically the same car
