I have paid for a set of admission and camping tickets from a PH member on here ,that he claimed were surplus to his group,all done properly via paypal and despite many requests , meet up arrangements agreed, he has avoided showing up and handing over the tickets ,using many excuses ,like some young schoolboy who cant tell the truth,and has as yet to date failed to deliver them to me via post .He knows i am booked to depart uk ferry on 7th to start our trip exploring
normandies beaches,
I can only conclude this PH member is a scammer and i will find him .
I recommend fellow Ph 'ers Only hand over cash on reciept of tickets ,seems nobody can be trusted these days sadly,
The worm ive been done by thinks he has got away with it .............

If you do pay by paypal you must do it via the commercial side of the site (think there's a fee of 3.4% + 20p transaction), not the friend / family part that's free, as there's no comeback if the tickets fail to arrive. If the seller isn't keen on paying the whole fee, suggest going halves on it for piece of mind. Mind you, still a pain in the butt to go through all the procedures to get your money back if they do go missing!

alas pay pal protection is long winded tho and it will be end of june, if at all, i will see a return of the funds.

Not sure on the forum rules but I think you should name and shame the alleged scammer's username, to help others avoid?!
