Just out of curiosity do any airlines operate scheduled flights to Le Mans airport or is it a private airfield?

The airport code is LME but I can’t find any flights there. If there are any I assume they will just be regional flights from other French Airports by a prop driven aircraft? If so might be fun to fly in one year via Paris or Bordeaux

On race day I seem to rember there being about 2 commercial flights that get booked many months before the rest is GA (General Aviation), expect there to be around 100 single engines and about 30-50 twins. Landing fee is a little steep at about 100 pounds. I fly in each year.

Bored pilot,

my old man sold BBNI a few years ago! It was based up in Elstree. Small world.

But in aviation everything is a small world. For instance I was a sponsered cadet for Air Atlantic, so I know some of thge pilots flying the DC3 to Le Mans
