I am looking for recommendations on where to stay at next year's race.
Looking for a private campsite as I like the idea of 24 hour security.
Also need immaculate showers/toilets, a large marquee with big screens, reasonably priced bar and restaurant with English tills, oh and a shuttle service around the track.
Trackside viewing would also be good and it also needs to be ran by a first class team of staff who go the extra mile to look after their customers from the minute the booking is made until the very end of the event and beyond.
Live music would also be a bonus as would a pamper tent for the girls to help them feel a little more comfortable.
Don't know yet whether I will be taking the motor home so a hard standing option would be beneficial although we might just camp so a large pre-erected tent may be needed.
We have stayed on beusajour a couple of times and I am sure I have seen one down that way on the inside of Porsche Curves somewhere.
Any tips gratefully received, thanks people 👍👍👍

Not asking for much then, but suspect if you find all of that the people providing it will be asking much wonger for sure.

Here’s a tip... don’t stay on the private site you’re trying to advertise. The prices are a rip off compared to what you can do yourself. Stay in a nice secure house with a proper bed near the circuit, eat/drink in nice restaurants and bars, plenty of shops in the villages for supplies. Best of all, it’s achieved at a fraction of the cost of what’s offered at the circuit. Comfort, French culture with the LM24 on top.. win win situation.

The other recent post trying to advertise was thankfully deleted.

Each to their own, people book what they want for Le Mans, lots of options that suit individual needs, but if you come here pushing these sites then you can also expect push back at the cheap effort to push the business. Knowledgeable and loyal LM fans can see right through it.

Houx is the site you need.
It has all of the above...how cool is that?! Except for the pamper tent, but it has bogs for girls to feel comfortable in, that most of the time don't get used by men. You'll love it. The trackside and screen bit...well just use your imagination.

You're welcome, and glad to help a totally genuine PH inquiry.

Try Lycian events inside Porsche curves

No hardstanding ground for motorhomes but rest of it pretty much there.

laugh....brilliant!

As for the woeful advertising, that is very poor and shameless.

As one of the Directors of Lycian Events Limited I have avoided posting on this forum as it can be constituted as advertising . Unfortunately there have been many breeches over the last few months and some posts removed by the Admins.

I have decided to clarify certain matters as despite asking the admins and Holdco to make a statement on the forum clarifying certain issues this has not been done.

Clients of all private sites must have the right to comment on their experiences which is why the site has been a valuable service to people wanting to visit Le Mans, these should be accepted as their personal opinions, i understand that one of my clients made a legitimate post, one member decided to then make accusations about him working for the company and it being cut and paste corporate drivel. If you looked at his other posts on other forums you would see that this is his style.

I can confirm that James has never worked for the Lycian Events and is unlikely to do so. He is a client who has been to our site on three occasions and clearly has found Village on The Curves to be to his liking. His post was removed and he was banned from the site and therefore had no right of reply.

For some reason he was then reinstated and I believe that he posted this tongue in cheek because of the previous issues.I do not control what clients may or may not post and neither do I condone fake advertising or using these forums for advertising, we are all aware that Pistonheads use 1st tickets campsite on Blue Nord as their preferred supplier but that should not in any way stop the freedom to post and to give genuine opinions and i am sure all the private site operators would support this.

All site operators try to give the best possible service to their clients and we never run down any other site as they all have good and bad points. Clearly the number of operators is reducing and this is due to a number of factors,i do hope that we dont see them diminish any further so that we have genuine competition and we certainly won't be attempting to cash in by raising prices above normal inflation although we do have to be mindful of the dreaded Brexit and what this will do to our businesses.

I do hope that this has clarified a number of points but am more than pleased to respond personally to any questions you may have, one pure advertising point is that we do have hard standing for Motorhomes but they are Limited.
