Nice of them to let us know in advance!! Perhaps a move to stop a flood of people and crash the system.

I had multiple problems trying to select seats and check out. Nearly gave up and thought perhaps next year was a good tile for a break, but decided to try calling up instead.

Expected engaged tone but straight through and in unusually efficient and English speaking assistance, I got the seats booked in 5 minutes. Happy now.

Ticketing office, +33 2 43 40 80 00.

Joined the ACO this year to get early access to tickets
No membership number yet and the web site keeps taking me back to the landing page

Wondering if it is worth trying to call and explain that I dont have a membership number yet but have joined, honest!!

Yeah, do that. Their English is un-French good nowadays and they should be able to retrieve your name.
Dedicated english spoken line: +33 243 40 25 40 or use the previously provided number.

Top advise chaps

Called, found out the reason I couldn't get in was because my membership hadn't been linked to my account yet so it thought I wasn't a member

All booked up now, let the countdown begin biggrin

I had the 'reverting to landing page' thing for a while - keep trying and you'll get in eventually. I had problems completing my order using microsoft edge (the standard browser in windows 10..) with not being able to edit basket, validate address, etc so had to abort. Was fine with Google Chrome so that's one to remember for next year.

Having been an ACO member for years it's a bit galling to not get the 40% discount off the 2 tickets I need, which the new cheaper membership gets. Seems a really good deal so hopefully that offer will continue into next year.

Roll on June!!!!

I didn’t have any luck with Chrome. Odd.

I need to look at this membership thing also. I renewed recently but it just put me onto the existing one with no option of the new packages. There was still an option for older memberships with 25% off. Not really sure what the old membership gives me that the new cheaper one wouldn’t.

I think the main thing is the number of discounted tickets you can buy, where with the old ACO membership only one person in a group of 6 needs to be a member to buy 6 tickets at 25% discount - this was always the question, at what point is the membership worth getting. The new membership is a better deal for buying up to 2 tickets and I suppose is also likely to increase membership. I assume with the new one you still get the discount on camping and tribunes, but if not then it's only a good deal for those doing a trip on the cheap with no seats and basic camping. If anyone knows please share! smile

Managed to get everything in the end, but it was the usual PITA.

6 camping places ordered, 6 plots allocated at random. A follow-up email to the ACO has now had them reallocated to be a 3x2 block.

Just booked my tickets. Previous years I've always done it online which can be a real pain. Taken the advice to phone direct and it could not have been easier. My French is reasonable but the voice on the line had better English than my French. Asked for the same tickets as last year, 1 x parking Expo, 2 x GA, and 2 x Panorama with specific seat numbers and nothing could have been simpler. They called up last years invoice and I now have exactly what I wanted. Have already paid for, downloaded and printed tickets. Job done! Now it's just the ferry booking.

All that 'reverting to landing page' issues drive me crazy. Once I had such troubles before with airplane tickets and tickets to Park Güell in Barcelona. I'm afraid my nervous system can't handle anything like this happening to me again.
