but a bit harder to meet freindly PHLM'ers at the ferry port and then again all the way down.
A convoy is always nice, but then i do not think i will be going down with anyone with a V dub rep car and a liking of cheap sarcasm at a ladies expense.
Thats great restraint, I would have gone for the cheap shot about the viper stripes.....

Take shoes that you don't care about - and that will protect you from all the broken glass...
HA HA i will take a pair of last years heels then. They should keep be away from any broken glass as they are a good height and being sooo last year i will not care if i scuff them as i stumble out of teh champagne bar.
We are going on thursday, jolly early on Seafrance, would be good to meet up with some other lmers, we shall be the 2 girls in the black elise s2 with many bags on the boot rack.
Which Sea France , we are on the 11am!

welcome.
Shoes - buy Matalan or Tescos plimsolls. Tesco do trainer liner socks at 2 pairs for 65p. Wear them all weekend - day and night, and throw them all away when you've done. Wet or dry, LM is filthy - either mud or dust. You won't want to wear your shoes again, and it's a waste of life trying to get socks white afterwards.
Even if it's hot, you'll need a fleece, because it's bloody freezing at 4 in the morning.
Apart from that, 1 pair jeans, 1 pair shorts, 2 t-shirts. That should do it
If you're going to watch a lot of racing, take some soft earplugs from Boots or Superdrug or whatever - undefended ears tend to hurt a bit after a couple of hours close proximity to the track.
See ya there girl!

is that in case up-the-dubs turns up?
I'm not exactly sure why you're targeting me with this childish p1ss take. You will notice, if you read a little more through the forums on PH, that there is quite a large ammount of slagging and one-liners thrown in on a regular basis. What I said was in jest, and highlighted so by the: . I'm not even mildly considering apoligising for it, because it's probably the least offensive thing I've ever said.
If you scroll through this Le Mans forum you will see the topic on 'stickers' where alot of people going are covering their cars with stickers. The irony of covering a Passat with viper stripes and flames has evidently passed you by. Compared to whats going, and indeed your own car, it is a boring rep-mobile. The most unlikely treatment of which is the idea that racing stripes make it look cool. It's a joke. Get a grip.
And finally, how dare you assume that you know anything of who or what I am going by a photoshopped photo of a car, the cars that I drive and one joke comment. Your comments are verging on rude and downright ignorant. If you think PH is solely occupied by owners of nice cars, you are going to be sorely let down. It is a mecca for car lovers, drivers and dreamers. I am all three.
If you see my car in Beasejour, as you have seen - it stands out, come over and say hello. Your impression of me is without foundation or merit.
Until then I leave it at that.

back from the Body Shop I'll be joining you with a Stickered up VW!!!
Thanks Guys.
TJ hopefully mine will be out of the body shop then too, or it'll be a strategically stickered Passat! Bloody trucks. Both bumpers, offside front wing and near side back. Bit of a hairy moment!
