Back on track......lowdrag, do you know or have any experiences of the tram travel regulations at the moment.
I do feel that the town restaurants and bars need supporting and Some really have Suffered during the years. Also trips to supermarkets Etc will need close inspection and planning. Any input and thoughts would be much appreciated I’m sure.TIA

For "after a collision with Kazuki Nakajima's Toyota TS030", read "After Kazuki Nakajima used his Toyota TS030 to violently hip check the Deltawing into the wall".
There's a heartbreaking video of Satoshi Motoyama trying to get the wreck moving again on YouTube.
And as for how they count the visitor numbers......... In the words of Star Trek, "It's worse than that......."
There is an interesting pic ture of a Nissan boss holding the engine in his arms and an interesting feature on why it could turn on youtubeThere's a heartbreaking video of Satoshi Motoyama trying to get the wreck moving again on YouTube.

At the moment everything has more or less returned to normal, but thrn again we were never really hit by the virus anyway. To put things in perspective, since the outbreak, out of a population of 600,000 in the Sarthe, we have registered 84 deaths. And half of those were people evacuated from Paris because their hospitals were saturated. Many people are no longer wearing masks and what I find the most strange is that parents are but the kids aren't. Many shops are demanding you wear a mask, but not all are enforcing it. I went to Decathlon last week and they turned the person in front of me away though.I do feel that the town restaurants and bars need supporting and Some really have Suffered during the years. Bars and restaurants are bleeding profusely. The lack of trade is quite evident and how many will be still operational next year is a matter of debate. My local bar at Mulsanne, where I have my coffee in the morning, has usually about 20 people around 11am and now it is four. Meals are being sold, and it does seem to be picking up, but one of the partners has taking a job with DPD sorting parcels to keep them solvent.
The trams are all running, but a mask is essential. I am not sure if all are running (and there is no point running them to the university for example) but from the circuit to the town centre they are.
All supermarkets are open and few people wear masks. Carrefour Market at Mulsanne is still opening Sunday mornings.
Hope this helps.

Humm, I'm not convinced there's a cutback to be had by taking a different line through the exit of "Esses du Karting" and into "Virage Corvette". Looks much more like Nakajima just trying to send a message to the car in front that either "I'm an LMP1, you're an LMP2, I'll be passing so stay there" or "We're both LMP1s but I'm faster than you and want you looking backwards rather than forwards".
Well, it's what Kazuki said he was trying to do, but racing drivers, innit. (and he did go and apologise in person)Great Dane said:
really enjoyed that.why wouldn't they let it race again?

We'll just have to see how things unfold.

Okay, that’s positive.
Just realised that I may have cocked up now though!
I’ve grandstand and parking tickets, but I’d held off on buying the general entry tickets. ffs why did I not think of this outcome.
Anyone with general entry e-tickets for sale who are definitely not going now?
I've had an email from 1st Tickets:Just realised that I may have cocked up now though!

"Following the ACO’s announcement on 30th June we are able to sell our remaining general admission tickets, provided that the customer has already purchased camping or parking tickets either through ourselves, direct from the ACO or via another reseller."
Anyone know is this a general rule from the ACO? I don't need camping or parking from anyone

The ACO announced anyone with parking, camping, grandstand, vip tickets can also buy the necessary entry tickets if already purchased. I imagine if you have evidence of ticket purchases from a 3rd party, you might be able to get the tickets from ACO directly or move quickly with the same 3rd party company. There was also some suggestion (can’t recall where I saw it) that as an ACO member you could buy up to two entry tickets regardless of whether you have other tickets.

Seemingly so is mine - there are agents selling GA only tickets it appears
The ACO rule is that GE tickets should only be sold to people who already have camping, parking or grandstand tickets, or to ACO members.FredericRobinson said:
Travel Destinations and Tickets2u are the same company (if you hadn't realised), Tickets2u is for those who only want tickets, not a travel package, these customers are very much treated like 2nd class
Didn't know the structure...i even got the number wrong! The lady said it was part of their outfit however, just a different phone number.Im happy to be 2nd class
I sort my own travel and use a private campsite, GA tickets is all i need unless or until they start selling on the gates if confidence improves
