2021 - Don't get too excited
Discussion
I have been ruminating over the tickets that might be for sale and for me it isn't adding up. Let's start with the marshals who all get two guest passes and that adds up to 2,500 passes. Then we have the ACO members who might get their allocation (which would be 40,000) although I would expect the ACO to do a membership draw for say 5,000. Then we have all the people who are carrying their allocation forward to this year, and if we generously count say, 30,000, then we are really approaching the 50,000 limit forecast. Even if we discount the marshals passes for friends we have 15,000 tickets left for sale. That isn't a lot for all the usual suspects who reputedly number over 200,000. Just a thought on my part, but we shall know this time next week just where we are heading. I should have access to the inside of Mulsanne bend and will be on the clubhouse roof as always, but I shan't be going inside the circuit even if I can.

I am not sure anyone is holding tickets over are they? Not unless the ACO is going to give those of us with Credit Notes first refusal on the tickets we had booked for last year. Its also made more complex for the Brits because at present we can attend for 5 days but have to quarantine for 10 days when we get back.

I sent the ACO an email last week asking them why they stated in their email of September 2020 that in 2021 I could use the attached voucher until May 31st 2021, when on May 31st 2021 it was not possible to use that voucher to order tickets. They replied:
"We will get back to you on June 10th to give you all the ticketing information.
Do not worry, if the ticketing sales open after May 31st your credit note will still being valid."
No worries then

Where are you seeing the ticket sales? The ACO only have a register for information window.
This page appears to have tickets for August - https://ticket.lemans.org/en/24h-lemans - I haven't tried to actually make a purchase though (uncertainty on travel restrictions is a deal breaker for most of our guys).Whoever wrote the blurb needs to change 84th edition to 89th edition.
Something about your screen shot worried me so I went on line and typed Lemans.org. I cannot buy a ticket and they ask me to leave my name and email address and they will let me know when tickets are available. Perhaps I'm being too cautious but better safe than sorry!
