Proper car from Honda, with a couple of teams in the US already having multi-year contracts with them and being on record as wanting to go for out right wins at LM.

There’s a fair amount of positive news starting to break free at the minute.

Is that proper car "from Honda" a Dallara, Ligier, Multimatic or Oreca?

If its an LMDh I think they need to use a chassis from one of the 4 listed suppliers. However, I doubt we'll see them at Le Mans. AFAIK the brand Acura is only used in the US, so from a marketing perspective IMSA makes sense, WEC not.

The teams running the Acura have made no bones about wanting to run at Le Mans, given the criteria for qualification allows for class wins in IMSA I reckon it’s highly likely we see them there at some stage.

Acura is just Honda so they could just change the name or add both names to it. Honda Acura
