That’s what I used when completing my application a few months back.

No issues.

I quite enjoyed obtaining it, a little bit of French bureaucracy to make me smile.

Still cheaper than 1 crappy "UK" sticker from Halfords.

I've just completed an order (will be driving into Rouen late summer).

Eventually processed the V5 picture after I'd reduced it to 56kb - which is barely readable.

I do worry that they might not read it after we've gone to all this trouble, and its so easy to photoshop documents.

Sadly, I'm having to go to Rouen soon

It which case, mine should be arriving any day, as I reckon that I ordered mine pretty much the same time as you.

I see that Crit'air has been mentioned by the BBC, to put the wind up anybody going to France, far too late.

This is going to run and run hehehehehehe

The Daily Fail have been on about it this week I saw.

Seems it’s all anti-British, anti-Brexit conspiracy to fine peaceable Jonny Bull on his foreign jollies.

FWIW, I bottled out of going through Rouen en route to Le Mans last week as I didn't fancy a ( admittedly low chance ) of getting a fine for an '80s car.

Went North via A29 / Yvetot and Seine Bridge instead. Probably only added 20 mins or so to the trip. And MUCH nicer scenery than going through brutal Rouen, and nil traffic either ! Only gotcha are cameras on the Yvetot to Seine Bridge section. Just be alert........

Probably running off the back of the ULEZ stories that have dominated the papers. At least the French one is a tiny one time payment for the lifetime of the vehicle.

biggrin I treated everyone in the Rouen tunnel to the sounds of an unfiltered V6. When I took the Capri to the Classic, I decided if I got in and out fast enough, it reduced the odds of being caught.

Similar to the toll tag thread, I just want to say thanks to this thread too. I've been driving down to Le Mans for the past 5 years and I had never spotted the signs around Rouen until I read this thread. Talking to the French guys I work with, they say the authorities are becoming hotter on the topic. But seeing as my car is on UK plates, I thought I would get it sorted. So a quick google and an a whole 4.61 EUR later, sticker on the way.

Annoyingly I had to do it all again when I put the private plate on the car, but that's by the by.

Also I got the German Umwelt sticker sorted at the same time ready for the next time I am across there too. Again 5.95 EUR later, I now have a lovely pair of stickers, yellow for the French and green for the Germans, in the window along with the toll tag. Ready to rock and roll again.
Cheers all

I've just got back from France and I was chatting to some of the French guys during a meeting I was in, and they are saying that if you are out in the sticks then generally it is not really a "thing" to have the stickers. For those who live in an area where the restrictions are in, it is just not worth the hassle and so everyone gets the stickers. The hassle being the cost of the fine vs the cost of the sticker.

I agree. In the middle of France, about 1 in 10 have the sticker.

I have actually seen the Rouen signs at last. Its just a red circle on a white background with a few coloured blobs at the bottom. It could mean anything.
