Will try to squeeze electric scooters in to do a lap.
Monsieur may well say NON...

The ACO says kick scooters.

Question for Team Langoustine if on here - will you have your traditional run/jog round the track this year? I guess it would have to be later than usual and fit in after the Friday morning races are finished.
I don't think this is a thing this year. Hopefully it can be resurrected for next year.

There are some minor changes, but as you surmise, the gaps on the currently public timetable are filled by Porsche.
After the racing finishes Friday lunchtime, there's about an hour's worth of filler laps, H24 etc before the track has public access
The ACO have now tweated a schedule which includes the Porsche races, I’m not clever enough to attach it here though

They’ve got it wrong though and have already had to correct the test day timings!

With the track not being open as usual on Thursday, I'm concerned that this will disrupt our usual trip from Houx to the Carrefour.

Especially given the import restrictions, we are proposing to take the minimum food/drink on Wednesday and do our main shop on Thursday morning.

Any thoughts on whether we should adapt our plan?

You could always visit a different supermarket, such as the Super-U in Arnage, that would less likely be affected by track closures etc.

You can still get to Carrefour via the tunnel between Tertre Rouge and the stadium can't you? Otherwise, use the tram?

EDIT: Ah, you can't turn left onto the roundabout can you

Turn left out of Houx onto Chemin aux Boeufs, follow the road under the circuit at the Tetre Rouge bar, around the right hand bend and then make the suicide left turn back on yourself onto the D142 (Rue de Ruaudin). Follow that for about 1km to a set of traffic lights with "Centre Sud" and "La Poste" signs pointing left. Right at the roundabout, then left into the covered section of the Centre Sud car park.

Simples.

Thanks for that. After posting, I did a search and made a note of the Super U. We're on Houx, so Carrefour was easier, but Arnage should be OK early-doors. We'd want to be back before the next tranche of ferry-born peoplpe arrive anyway.

Oh yes. Forgot that one. We've cycled there in previous years.
