Has the bacon issue been covered anywhere yet ? Last year we were very creative with our meat packing and didn't even get checked. I assume the same laws are in force with the same hit and miss policing of it ?

Excellent work Strasse and well done committing time for all these updates etc.

Quick question from me; I guess then there will be no Saturday morning Le Mans Legends Group C racing like they used to?

Sadly no. Instead we have the side shows, the 911s, Ferraris and Ligiers

I'm afraid it is all about marketing and money (hey it is a Commercial Enterprise) but the times of Stirling Moss going nuts in the "birdcage" are long gone, although it was magic to see it on Saturday morning.

Also remember how good the "Kangaroo TV" was before it feel out with the ACO.

Great work Strasse

Does anyone know / remember where the free parking is on the test Sunday.
Last year I remember getting turned away from several car parks and can't remember which one I ended up in smile (it had been a long journey down)

This year, I wish everyone the very best of luck trying to find out where the "Free" parking is going to be. With the ACO land grab of the airfield side ie Reds & Blues I think even the Local French are going to be more than their usual tetchy selves!

Hopefully it will be shown on the 2023 Circuit Map, which is yet to come out. It might also reveal if they have added/changed any of the foot entrances given they now have all the people they moved out of the circuit to get back in, if you see what I mean.

With luck we might know what happening by the start of June.

All I am certain of is the roundabout by Porsche Curves is going to be rammed from Thursday pm onwards - if you can possibly manage it GET A BIKE or scooter.

I've just read on the facebook forum that the rest of BN (apart from Brians camp) is parking is for the support races. Is this correct? I thought it was public parking for the race.

I’d heard the rest of BN was all non-public parking. Not sure who’s using it but that’s it’s not open to the public.

The only public parking offered was PZ54, Panorama, Mulsanne Arnage and EXPO. There’s also the free parking (gratuit) at Raineries, Actisud and Etamat. I’m not sure what is parking at Ouest.

I’m wrong - so is the guide Strasse

According to the ACO website support races are

Ligier on test day
Road to Le Mans on Thursday and Friday
Porsche and Ferrari on Saturday morning

The ACO seem to have lost the Ligiers during the week, with the race on Test Day Sunday being their last event. Strange.

Looks like the Ferrari challenge muscled in instead. I shall not be watching any of this

NEW version 6 of https://www.le-mans-guide.co.uk

with (hopefully) a more accurate programme.

Out of interest I take various inputs - Daily Sports Car, Autosport, the various cup races (if they bother to update their websites!) and the ACO who still seem to be doing a bit of rescheduling.

At the moment their is no warm up shown for the 24hrs

Just received this from ACO

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dl59ztMiXvw

It appears there will be a bridge from Blue into the circuit - that's not been done before.

Group C are going to be at the Classic, so maybe that's why they're not supporting the 24 this year.
