LM24 Tickets 2024 (not buying and selling)

Decided a while ago I wanted to go to Le Mans next year. Didn't know about this ACO business so assumed tickets were only available yesterday.

Has anyone booked one of those glamping tent things? It's horribly expensive but you get 4 nights, train over etc.

No but it does make some of the private campsite prices (booked up ages ago) more acceptable.

For parking (as full week all sold out), there is free parking by far side of airport but Brian (good guy) on midweek motorsport interview did mention free parking at university and the. Tram to Antares as a good option if staying offsite.

Gets you closer than airport parking and an easier exit I assume

Was thinking that too. Last year I sold spare camping (at face value) to a German who didn’t know me from Adam. I wonder did anyone get ripped off? I guess people with a history on here or other forums would be the safe bet

If money no object then do whatever, your choice.

No right or wrong, just different options for Le Mans etc etc.

However, I struggle to see what value is in the glamping (or other ‘luxury’ Le Mans options). Regardless of whether money was no object.

Long time advocate of off circuit accommodation. Really doesn’t make for a worse weekend staying within 20-30 min range of circuit.

This year I’ve got a lovely newly renovated, self contained 2 bedroom house with swimming pool/gardens and secure parking. Close to shops and numerous restaurants. Secure and doesn’t matter what the weather is doing. Simple drive into circuit. £195 per person (based on 3 staying) for 4 nights.

Only negative is limited drinks at the circuit on Saturday, however after Thursday, Friday and Sunday night, a lighter Saturday isn’t such a bad thing.

Whether it is hotel, Airbnb or campsites I believe there is better value and more enjoyment simply being in France staying off circuit.

But that’s my preference, no right or wrong option.

I'm totally with you. I think the days of 'you have to camp at Le Mans' are effectively over. To be honest, I've never camped at Le Mans and I don't feel I've missed out on anything at all, in fact, quite the opposite. As I don't drink and haven't for a number of years, alcohol and driving is a non-issue for me as well as ensuring that I can make it through the night.

Regarding the 24 Hours of Le Mans ticketing success, Week and Weekend Admision, Grandstand tickets, Camping Areas and paid Parking passes are no longer available, in order to guarantee a quality spectator experience.

Tickets for Test Day, Free Practice and Qualifying sessions are still available.
Sample the 24 Hours of Le Mans atmosphere on Sunday 9, Wednesday 12 and Thursday 13 June 2024!

You can also consult our official resale platform to buy or resell a ticket.

You must have been lucky. I didn't get grandstands last year for the first time ever. It inspired me to join the ACO this year. Bonus is it actually worked out cheaper when you add up ACO membership, 2 general entry and 2 Grandstands at Dunlop.

For me I like the freedom to pop in and out. We take a motorhome and bikes. So up to the stand for a couple of hours at the start. Back to the MH for coffee. Back to the circuit for sunset maybe watch a bit of music. Back to the MH to relax and a few drinks. Midnight cycle out to Arnarge/Mulsanne for a bit of night racing. Back to the motorhome for around 2am for some kip. Maybe get up for sunrise??? Back to MH for homemade bacon butties. etc etc.

Unbelievable that week long entrance tickets have sold out. Last year you could still get them up until between Christmas and New Year.
I suppose everyone didn’t want to risk missing out.

I can see the 'Free seating' being unavailable for late comers.

I doubt very much they have sold the same number of tickets as they have seats too.

Eppinettes is nice. Much smaller than BSJ and it you get there early you may be able to get access to EHU. I like the location too.


However - I am very annoyed!!!! I wanted Epinettes and it said no availability when I tried to purchase 2 weeks ago with my ACO membership pre sale!

To be fair, that's not just at Le Mans. I work as a volunteer grandstand steward at the Goodwood Revival and there are always liggers who think that just because they have a fancy Rolex badge (that gets them into the Rolex enclosure - and nothing else) they're entitled to go and sit anywhere they want to.....

Did offsite camping for a couple of Classics, even with odd short cuts like through the hospital car park driving in a group was a pain. Rouge car park full last time we drove so parked on slip road other side if airport.

Camping close to track has a few advantages like waking up at 4am during Classic and watching the GT40s stream by or having breakfast or a beer and watching support races or a stroll up to Porsche curves for late practice and fireworks or just wandering over to watch what’s on track without preparing for a full day or half day trip and allows different people in group to meet up easily.

Plus a casual stroll back down the track after presentations etc

There’s not many places in UK or Western Europe where you can stay inside the event.

Not good but better than stands with no fans at all!

As the ACO told me that i had to download the tickets again in an email yesterday i did so. On looking at them compared to the ones i did ast week there are absolutely no differences at all.

I heard some didn't have the QR codes on them.

Have they fixed the dates? Mine still reference 2023...
