With reference to my previous posting, I require the extra permit, 'cos one of the memebers of our car has now decided he wants to take his bike. As he is driving/riding down with us, does ho require his own Camping Permit?. OR can he be admitted to Maison Blanche on our permit???????

Any Help Appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Yes he will, but what we have done in the past is to 'borrow a pass out of a car (ie only stick the pass in the car by the corners tso they are transferable). Usually once the bikers are known the guys on the gates let them in and out regularly.

Hope this helps.

I had two friends join us down in Houx annexe last year and just went up to the entrance to meet them coming in and the stewards didnt bat an eyelid and just waved them in.
Also a few Euros slid into the right Monsiuers hand might also help but iiw ould say u should be ok,Bikes dont take up to much room aslong as they are on your camping pitch.
Went on mine two years ago when it Pi$$ed it down and can say the Camping blue was fun when trying to leave on my Bike and a MARSH

Let the bike go first with the ticket, because if they insist on it being attached to the bike they will do it with a cable tie, which is easily removed and then the pass can be transferred to a car. After the first day or so they seem to relax anyway and get to know the cars and bikes that are coming in and out.

This will be my first year of taking a car rather than a bike and I'm shocked that its the first year ive needed to bother getting any form of ticket or pitch in advance, just ride down and blag it, I've done exactly that for years.
