Any Female's Going To Le Mans

My and my mates better halfs are coming, we will be in the Porsche camping field. You will be more than welcome to come over and help them get though gallons of wine they will be sampling. For medicinal and research purposes of course!!!

I think it is in the Karting nord site. Not to sure yet, just paid my money and see what turns up. But it is with the Porsche club so where ever they are I will be not far behind! Sorry to be vage, my fisrt trip and I am yet to get any in-depth info.

Though i know that we are getting ready for a week (yes week, monday to monday) of drink, food, drink,drink,drink! O and somewhere in there I think there is a race somewhere!

Well, me and Raceboy are on our 6th visit in the same amount of years. The first few years we saw lots of racing and now we just see the start, a bit in the dark and the finish. The rest is spent hyjacking campers big paddling pools, getting very tipsy and sleeping wher you fall (that's me, not raceboy) and being a female, trying to get as sunburnt as possible while drinking white straight out a 3ltr box. We are on the Portsmouth - Cherbourg ferry early Thursday morning after a night in a Portsmouth B & B.

Well you might think that a week is a bit keen, but we are going over with an advanced party to setup the camping area. The tickets were avalible as a package and it seemed a good idea. we are planning a few trips off to see other thinkgs before the races crowd get there. But by mid week will be in the party mood.
So if you do come over to the Karting Nord site then you might find I am following Raceboy and drooling over the Tropic girls, wow!!!

Typical male, although I do have to admit, they are STUNNING, I just standing there wishing I had legs like that! And I think that is they way all girls in Le Mans should think or there might be lots of domestic arguments going on. And Raceboy knows me well enough that I can have a laugh with him ( i hope??). You'll love it anyway. I couldn't imagine not going, the atmos is brill and you get to meet some cool people!

Now now Raceboy, you know i am a connisser (spelt badly) of wine so it will be the cheapest one in the supermarket!! But has to be in a box!

Did you mean a box or a crate! so does this mean the TVR will be full of wine? A tent can take up a lot of drink space!

Well, I tend to by a crate of cider a few bottles of wine a few boxes of wine and a bottle of Bacardi. Raceboy will probably have a crate of stella but i tend to do the drinking for both of us. I have some terrible stories of doing things when i get drunk but i won't mention them, and neither will you Raceboy! But drinking is the main topic of Le Mans. I am just hoping Nubbin is going with with his doctors case in case i get ill!

No that was 98 in the BMer 2000 was your passing out in the sun and refusing to be covered up adventures

YOu two sound like my level of company! we will definatly have to get together and celebrate the start of the race.....well and the first lap...and the second. May be if we are lucky we can even make the finish!

Sounds cool Lee. I haven't got a clue where your camping but Raceboy will. And his mates are all as mad as us, and with me being female I knock out a fantastic BBQ cause no doubt i will be doing to cooking for All of them, won't I Raceboy?

I think you'll find girls aren't actually allowed near a BBQ, it's a man thing Especially with Smolsey in charge
