May I suggest one more messy, faffy but workable option?
Ted, the reason I emailed you for a hi-res logo was to print it on to those T-shirt transfers that you can buy - about £10-15 for a pack of 10 A4 ISTR.
Split the logo across 4 of those to get a 4ft wide image and iron on to a plain white 5' x 3' flag.
OK, it's a bit Blue Peter but it should look good on a flag pole.

In fact last years flagpole could do with a redesign. Anyone got any thoughts on what to build flagpoles out of? Bearing in mind it has to fir in an Impreza!
This year I'll mostly building my flagpole out of a spare tent pole. One of the springy modern ones, not the scaffold poles of the old type
Edit: I'll have one Ted .. any sneak preview on the PH flag ?

Ted will you be able to see the stickers ok on a lighter car colour, as if white writing and me yellow paint might be a no goer. Just a thought.
