I worked in France for 6 months but a bit further south(100miles) and it is quite common for them to have lightning storms at night during the summer apparently. as longs it dont rain i will be happy as a me in a sex shop

BB

Was actually at Le Mans 2 weeks ago ... same kinda weather then. I asked one of the locals what the long range forcasts were for the region .... even they dont know !... Bloody French for ya

Jurdy, so you'll be there again then? Who/how/where?

Might see you around then - I'll be the fat bloke in the paddling pool (again).

The one good thing about the ground at Le Mans is that it's predominatly very sandy, so in most areas it drains, and it shouldn't ever end up like on of those Silverstone mud baths!

Almost identical forecasts as last year...

I'm really disturbed by the fact they are saying it's 89 degrees on Sunday....NOT!!

Digga,

Of course I'll be there. I'm going down with the same old boys from the TVRCC but will most certainly be joining you in said paddling pool this year.

If you can't find me in Houx Annexe look for the scruffy dazed dribbling blond bloke on Saturday morning.

Apparently, now, the ladies in our group have banned me from jumping into the pool in my shorts. Something to do with the fact that we use it to keep bottles of beer cool - can't quite understand why?!

trvcc

Not sure what the etiquette will be, whether you're allowed in with 'proper' swimming trunks/shorts, or if it's strictly for use as a beer cooler only. If it's too hot though, then tough, I'm going in anyways!

We're on the 0658 Eurotunnel crossing, so we'll be off the train around 0730 and then it's light blue touch paper time!

We'll be stopping en-route for some snap at the same place as last year.

Will keep an eye out for you guys on the way.

Digga,

You better have your foot down as we are on the 7.30 +/- and although we have some of the ol' boys along with us we'll still see you at Le lunch spot!

Looking forward to it all!
