First time was 1989 and have just done my 15th year on the trot.... would be interesting to work out how much alcohol I've consumed down there over the 15 years.

Also only since '97, but have also managed three Prequals and the Classic last year. So last year went three times!!

First time, did the weekend, but since then have been going for longer and longer... Soon we'll have to buy a house there

Just pipped Bobo - first trip 1986 - on a Page & Moy coach trip. Drove down early Saturday returned straight after the race - truly awful, but enough to get bitten by the bug.... have always driven down since.

First trip 1985 on a Page and Moy coach trip slept in the luggage hold. Second was a "VIP" coach trip with P7M (same trip with free bottle of wine) Third year flew Gatwick to Paris then coach to Le Mans (no I don't know why either)........
Flew myself and mates there a few times, been down towing a caravan,in a hire car, various Porsches etc.
So this year was my 18th in a row and counting.

I went first with MarkB's group in 1998. Apparently I'm still a newbie!

Well relative newcomers, started in 98, spur of the moment type thing, ordered General Admission tickets from MRI, booked a last minute ferry and set off, arrived there late night Friday and bought a camping permit for 'Blue' of a french bloke on the gate
99 was an MRI Bus trip as I was between cars, never again, it's just not the same somehow
00/01 drive down in the TVR , 02 share a motorhome, missed the (speedy) drive, so 03 back in the TVR

First trip 1980, took my then three year old son in 83. My son and I have been most years since. I was part of the Jaguar effort in the late 80's and the Nissan R390GT's in the 90's (probably guess I worked for TWR for a while). My son followed in my foot steps (foolish child) and has been a mechanic with various teams at the race, and many others, for the last four years.
Looking foward to the LM series next year!!
