First visit was in 1985. Only things I remember from that year

1. Deeply impressed by Corvettes and Ferraris loading onto the Ferry at Dover.
2. Drank a litre of Vodka on the boat / coach from Dover to first service station stop in France.
3. I threw up all over the bonnet at the French service station...
4. ...my friend Paul Curtis fell asleep on the coach and threw up in his sleep into the shoes of the guy sitting behind us on the coach!!
4. Watched Deep Throat on the Coach video....
5. ...Oh..and the Newman sponsored Porsche won.

Been every year since the Corvettes returned in 2000.

First went in '85, missed '86, then 16 consecutive years.
I'm afraid I've been put off by poor grids and rip-off ferries, but whats really upset me is the decimated speccie areas, so didn't go this year. Cutting Indianapolis in half really really upset me. Might do the Historic event in future.
