Discussion
It is time for an update since the 2020 edition is coming ahead.
For those of you looking for an accommodation, this is the place to go:

They list rooms to rent at a reasonable cost in the direct vicinity of the circuit for all of the Le Mans events, not just the classic race.

A friend and i are tempted to do the Classic this year but it will be in addition to the normal 24hr so with a lack of holiday to take we were thinking in and out with sleeping in the car. Has anyone done the Classic like this?
If so a few questions:
Parking - a well known ticketing website is saying limited spaces for Car Parking (Blue or Red) £40 / (Expo) £65 if i don't have a ticket for this is there other locations available if you just turn up?
Sleeping in the car - Is security OK with this or will they try to stop this? I've seen plenty of people at the 24hr camping on the road or in the big MMArena car park so assumed they do not enforce rules/restrictions as it's not possible to police?
Racing - I've read a couple of mixed things on the actual racing for this event. Is it closer to demonstration runs than racing? Is it possible to follow the running order or is there no way of knowing the standings?
Facilities - Is there plenty of food stands, bars, toilets/showers like there is for the 24hr or is the scale much smaller?
