Hi everyone, as you may or may not have seen from other posts I am looking to Join/Create a convoy to Le Mans from one of the South coast ports or maybe the Le Shuttle.

I am booked for the Masion Blanche camp site, but I have yet to book a ticket to get to France.

I would idealy like to travel on the Wednesday but I am open to suggestions and I would like to go in a convoy as it would be fun, and I have not been there before so it would make life easier for me and I guess a few others if a convoy was available with someone who knows the route.

If anyone has a convoy that I could join please let me know, if not and you want to create a convoy and we can arrange a meeting place and times to get to France, then also let me know and I will try and pull it together.

Thanks

David

edited as I cannot spell "Masion"

David,

Our group are convoying down from the Sevenoaks / Tunbridge Wells area via early morning Newhaven to Dieppe ferry on the Wednesday if you're interested.

Cheers,

Charles

About 20 cars will be departing Portsmouth on the 7am(ish) Seacat to Cherbourg on the Thursday and heading to Masion Blanche. Feel free to join us.

The crossing is under 3 hours and the drive 5 (with lunch) We are usually setting up camp in the afternoon. Its a nice easy run and I cant wait

I already create news letters for Le Mans!

I have never created a website before and fear that the small amount of free time I have (in which I sleep) will be lost forever if I start now!

However, its a bloody good idea and Id happily contribute or do it if I had the software and place to host it.

After all it only needs a couple of maps, some saucy pics and a bit of text, and Ive already done that for the past 5 years!

We have 17 TVR's heading for Dover on the Thursday morning (15 on the 6.00am ferry & 2 via the Chunnel @ 6.30am).

Any unusual seismic activity in Kent at 4.00-5.00am will be as a result of all that bhp rolling on by.

Porsche Boxsters are especially welcome to join us

Not guilty. Mines black.

A change of plans means I will now be travelling out on the overnight Pompey to Cherbourg ferry on the 9th.

Hi Rich, where are you meeting in Calais? and what ferry are you taking over there? If you could post the times and locations a few more people may be able to join you and your group, that is if you do not mind.

Thanks

David,

speaking for Rich, as a member of the same party, we are all congregating in Calais on the Wed nite at various times... with all of us staying in the Ibis (Ferry) hotel that nite. Hence the Thurs, 8(*gasp*) more like 9am start - read 9ish!!

Going home on the Monday pm.
