Midnight blue 993 convoy with Vario-Rob

It is fair to say that the plan is to burn up the highways of our natural enemy in quite a big way...

I do think your viper looks great for a replica. So much so that I have been helping Shnozz re-create the look on his Chimaera this afternoon...

Flash

where did you manage to source the revolutionary 'goalpost' shaped spoiler on the light coloured Tiv parked behind it ?

Will be taking the tunnel Thursday about 10.30 and returning Monday afternoon.

Cruising (or possibly cursing) in the newly built 383 TT Millenium Yellow Z06 Corvette. Will be accompanied by Shoebag.

Eric The Brave will be riding shotgun in his '78 vette.

I will have the Pistonheads stickers somewhere on the car.....can't wait!

Going for first time this year with my Dad.

In his 12 year old Clio I wonder if it will make it

We're leaving the Thursday before when I get back from school so I don't know if there will be much room left?

I'll be driving the Sky Remote Control this year, my first year in 11 that I won't be planted in Houx Annexe Marinating in Kronenbourg and smelling of fireworks under the shadow of the largest flag pole at LM.

Good old Eurosport will be my companion for the weekend, 1 19month old and 1 month old baby will be the reason..... I'm gutted and will be a dribbling mess all weekend wishing I was 250 miles away in central France.

Still, one month later I'll be rocking down to LM for the Classic... can't wait!

I know you'll all have a great time though.....

fantastic! Mind you, I would be inclined to drive up to le havre/caen and stay in a hotel for the night just to join the drive down to le mans.

agree with shnozz there, drive is the best bit

Enjoyed it so much last year that when we got to the "lovely" campsite I almost wanted to carry on driving instead!

Schnozz, DustyC,

Can't blame you ! Have you tried to book hotel rooms in hotels like "Formule 1", or "Premiere Classe" ? Those hotels are part of the same chain as Novotels, Mercure, but only with one or two stars for approx. 35EUR/night...

Might be worth trying (especially if weather sucks...) !
