You think you have problems!
I am travelling with planetdave and by the time he gets his hairdyer and all his shoes in, I will only have behind my seat in the Griff to pack my stuff!

Two tents/Two sleeping bags/enough loo roll = Griff full.

Eli

WOT! Leave the hairdyer behind. Noooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Mail me offline and I'll send you a spreadsheet with everything we took for Le Mans.

Did a fortnight's camping holiday in France last year in the Griff, and managed everything even with the roof in the boot. It's just organisation.

you have a spreadsheet?!!! wow, organisation... what wrong with :

1) Passport
2) Credit card
3) Credit Card

Then just max both out at the local shampoo house! Free loo roll then!

Luxury! Two of us are going in an Elise!

cuzza - what ferry you taking mate - if its a thursday ferry then hows about a "en route to le mans" p*ss up in the shamblehurst on the wednesday night? We are on the 6.45am Thursday ferry

We're on the 7.15am Fast Craft on Thursday so definitely up for a crafty beer or two on the Wednesday night.

Schnozz, are you on the seacat? We are on the 7:15am departure.

If either of you are interested a few of us that are going to LM are going for a drink in TGIs ParkGate on the Wednesday.

If its a nice evening could be a good drive out for you too.

Edited: Opps! Cuzza already said which crossing we ae on! You got your letter OK Cuzza?

maybe head down to TGI's for a couple of swifties, then dump the cars back at my house to head down the shamblehurst and carry on drinking. could be a plan - speak nearer the time on this.

Sounds like a good plan. TGIs is fairly central for my lot.
Getting up in time for the ferry is gonna be fun!

thats the thing though - if it was a work day it would be a nightmare - the thought of le mans we will be jumping out of bed. I think I have a house full the night before living so close to the ferry port so it will be party central.

You may recall that we discussed the merit of taking the ‘Holland’s’ for the bird sanctuary set behind the large service station half way between Calais and Rouen. If I’m correct it is called Aire de la Somme and has those large observation towers set just behind the service area.

We were admiring the wide variety of duck which were show on the little display boards and I’m sure the nice chap who owns the Brasserie Des Ducs in Alencon could do something tasty with a couple of brace.
