Whilst they look impressive, am I alone in thinking £16 is a tad excessive for a printed T shirt? For that kind of money I would have expected a Polo shirt.

I was thinking along the lines of a tenner for a T shirt, after all thats roughly what the official Le Mans T shirts cost at the circuit.
Personalisation comes at a premium too.
Controversial comments perhaps, I know the site is a business but goodwill of PH'ers shouldn't be taken for granted.

The Jimmer Le Mans Crew will probably take last years PH Rugby Shirts, and make their own arrangements for this year's uniform.

You have a fair point, which is why I did enquire about the CDL/TVR link, if so, then I do not begrudge helping a team with funding this way.

Ted, what is the exact method of order. Do I order the shirt and personalising from the shop and pay, and then e-mail you to let you know what I want on the back? Martin.

Is Mulsanne Straight nearly on opposite ends of the track to the Porsche Curves?

Dear Scrooge,

IMO unfair, unhelpful and unjust comments.
I personally usually spend £20/£25 + on t-shirts. I do not wear polos. A good quality t shirt is a good bit of clothing, and these look top notch.
I think the £16 is a billy bargain. I do not want to be reminded how much I spent last year on a Bentley Boys Tee which I have never worn since. Granted I did pay top dollar for a Corvette Racing rain coat which is great.
But to be fair, I treat PH as a club, i am looking forward to meeting many new faces at LM this year all through PH. Ted does a great job with this, and I would imagine it is things like the shirts etc which help make PH possible. And I for one congratulate Ted for doing something a bit different and more everyday cool and relevant if you like by producing a great looking t shirt rather than the usual 'club style' polos etc which do look homemade.
As far as I am aware these are good quality shirts with a great looking design.

Will there be a swear filter on the personalisation ? I was thinking that just having "Mel" on the back was a bit boring (and could leave me vulnerable to abduction by child molesters) I fancied just having " off Bonce" across my shoulders

I can understand where you're coming from with respect to comments about price. However, I've ordered good quality shirts, I've employed the services of someone who can design (rather than me!), there's the printing cost and I've got collect VAT within the price too. Quantities won't be running into the thousands (i.e. they're a limited edition ) so they wouldn't be viable at £10 each.

We did a lot of research on the personalisation and whilst we could find someone who'd do it for £3, we weren't confident in the quality.

I'm confident that those that purchase them will feel that they've got value for money rather than a shite shirt from a street market

No great rush. The shirts will be with me in a couple of weeks time. I'm taking pre-orders to determine demand and ensure we can supply shirts in the sizes required.

Pre-order to avoid disappointment though.

Thanks for the clarification regarding the quality/cost etc.
No doubt there will be plenty of Yellows at La Sarthe this summer.
Just hope that Ted has checked the long-range weather forecast - or are Pistonhead brolleys next in the shop?
