....good god charles, that was me in the middle of the roundabout in the video clips. Were you with the two tone Lotus that did repeated laps on the Friday?
I was with the group that pulled the blue boxster onto the middle of the roundabout to drop off the beer then got politely moved on by the rozzers.
It looks like you were camped only a few yards from us in Houx Annex. I remember the tall flag pole and the madness music. We were flying a welsh flag, 2 boxsters, my 996 and a yellow elise. How very bizzareI'll look out for you this year

Excellent! Yes, that was us.. We're a smaller group this year, unfortunately as normal life has intruded for a few of us, but Martin and his Europa will be down, as will the music, the flagpole and the rest of us... See you there!

Edited to add: Looking at BB's pics, there was another two tone red and white Lotus doing the rounds, just a lot newer! Read: an Elise...

Bloody hell must have been right near you lot, Did you have the flag on the Fir Tree

I have a couple of the Roundabout pics HERE

BB

Yup, that is definitely us... Do pop over to say hi... We'll all be wearing our 2004 Le Mans special t-shirts and one or two of us will be in yellow PH t-shirts too from time to time. Mine'll have my extremely imaginative PH screen name on the back... Err, that'll be "charlescrawley" then... It's times like this that I really wish I'd chosen something more imaginative!

Edited to add: Excellent pics, especially the background one... Put it up as a separate link!

As we're down on numbers this year anyone who wants to give us a hand putting said fir tree into position is more than welcome.

Incidentally I spoke to Martin at the weekend (owner of red/white Europa) and it looks as though the custom driveshafts have been fitted, hence there is reasonable optimism he might make it all the way down and most of the way back this year.

I promise not to let Gary meet the native and attempt to conduct continued behavioural adaptiontechniques such as last year.

we have promised him this year that we will put him on a leash if he can't control his enthusiasm ....

See you for a beer .....
