Well can't hold out no more need to tell the world!!!

I'm in the The Parade de Pilotes at Le Mans

Thanks to Pauline (Mid-Essex RO) for getting my car in and Dave and Diane's Midas Gold T350 and to Simon (Chairman of TVRCC).

The 5 cars are;

1) Tuscan S (Cascade Copper) 'mine'
2) Tuscan (Crimson Stardust)
3) Cerbera 4.5LW (Reflex Purple)
4) T350C (Midas Gold) 'Dave & Diane'
5) T400R/Typhon (Factory)

With my spare seat going looks like I might find friends I never knew

Alan.

Nice, I assume its a current model line up. [picky mode]Would have liked to see a LE griff burbling along rather thatn two Tuscans, unless one is a classic Tusacan that is [/picky mode].

I am third reserve with another Tuscan, and 2 more Cerberas in front of me - since the email only went to 8 peolpe, I assume no one else bothered to offer their cars, so the Car Club made do with what they were offered, so if you feel another model would have been better then raise it with the owners of that model!!

Not trying to have a go, just pointing out the lack of interest from other model owners - I hope it reads like that!!

I didnt even realise thee was a call for this.
However since I dont have a current model they probably wont be interested.
BUT, if they want a Griff 500 (resprayed and looking dandy) then Id be more than happy to help.

As there was only room for 5 cars this year, they wanted the new models. The 'call' went out to all the TVRCC RO's.

Am not giving up my place thats for sure...

I understand that the limited number of spaces was the rationale for current cars only. An sure it would have been more open had more spaces been allocated (like a couple of years ago when the TVRCC had 20+).

Shame about no Tamora though.

Well done Alf and Dave & Diane - I will make sure I get some good photos of you in the parade. Something for the lounge wall me thinks.

It was the ACO who limited us to just 5 cars this year and although the inital request went to ROs, there have been calling notices on the Club's website asking for Tamora owners to volunteer since 15th April...

Thats a shame isn't it, is that a indication of the lack of Tams going .
Either way it will be good ot see and hear the Tivs . Just a little concerned it will look a little samey seeing the front of three Tuscans out of five Tivs there. Obviously not through want of trying on the part of the club.

If some one (any dealers?) wants to lend me a Tamora I'll drive it on the parade!

Always fancied a go in a Tamora.

But I am sure the TVRCC will break the Tuscans up and they are all different models, a Tuscan, a TuscanS and a T400.

I guess they can only use what they are offered.
