Fiat 500 RIVA to rival an Abarth Rivale
Discussion
I caught site of the Fiat 500 RIVA the other day, and whilst I know that Fiat have produced about 50 million special editions, this one I absolutely love. I love Riva Aquarama boats for a start (who doesn't!) but the combination of the blue paint, the turquoise pinstripes, cream leather piped blue, a 'mahogany' dash. Whoooweeee!
Several people in my station carpark use Abarths as their station cars and, aside from their monotonous exhaust drone, they do seem a huge amount of fun.
Someone then alerted me to the fact that Abarth had tied up with Riva as well, the Rivale. And if you have seen this, it is a very different proposition to the Riva version. Where the Riva is pure Italian Riviera class, the Rivale is out and out shiny-trainer Puerto-Banus.
So.....without a ridiculous engine transplant and two worthless cars, how can I get a Riva, with some Rivale oomph?
