This one is more accurate, but assumes there are no document fees included when inputting the APR. For the sake of estimation, it'll do the trick!rfoster said:

APR includes all document fees, it has to, that is the point of it, it is the interest rate plus any fees. The only exception is a loan application fee, say if a third party has sourced you a loan.
But APR is the interest with all fees included.

Agreed - what I mean is that this won't reflect an accurate monthly payment if there are document fees (i.e. if there are £300 doc fees on the deal then to reflect the APR accurately, the monthly payment would be lower. The only exception is a loan application fee, say if a third party has sourced you a loan.

Reading that back it sounds complicated - ideally the calculator would have a box to input the document fee amounts in order to work back to the monthly payment.

Ford Europe's man was quoted in February as saying all the major manufacturers were scaling back European operations and as such the current lease bonanza where manufacturers are just trying to get as many cars out the door as possible, is set to come to a gradual stop.
I sell Nissan and Renault, both are having bumper year to date. Both have factories that are at full capacity too which is nice Art0ir said:

Sorry to be a pain but does anyone know what the best site is to search for regular lease cars? Looking for a DS3 or similar for a mate. I pondered over the Golf R deal for too long and missed out, wonder what the next hot hatch deal will be.

Is it just me or is the contract hire and leasing website awful? I can't seem to simply sort the results of a search in price order?
a friend of a friend owns it. It's basically just an advertising site, so each deal you see is an ad rather than something which they can do vaguely sophisticated searches over. I think they can't order by price so there isn't preferential treatment or something.Blown2CV said:

I've found when I click through to any deal, it's not available. It's just a headline grabber as far as I can see.Just be aware that the Contract Hire and Leasing website can be a touch ambiguous - I've followed a few links from there to find an AMG C63 lease, and non of the companies could provide a car, let alone provide a car for the price advertised.
A large pinch of salt is required if you go through that site.
Very mis-leading and a waste of phone calls. Bunch of shysters.

Yep, the industry is full of them unfortunately. I put the deals we have on there, and will only put deals on I can actually do. Recently though, we added a load of deals, then the funder changed their prices and the advertised prices were all wrong...we only found out when the enquiries started coming in. Embarrassing. This does happen occasionally unfortunately! When you do find a good broker, stick with them!! A large pinch of salt is required if you go through that site.

Just compare the prices they quote you every now and then to make sure they aren't taking the p*ss!!!
