Best lease car deals available?

Anyone got anything big but cheap at the moment?
Needs to be on a 9+23, £125 + VAT per month, mileage about 8k per year, as big as a Focus.
This isn't for me, but they don't want used under any circumstances, they won't pay more, and they want something 'nice' for what is to my mind a highly optimistic budget.
At least they're not too hung up on delivery date, yet.

Is there any hidden dangers of excess fees if you take a car out on a 10k per annum and do 20k? If not you would be mad to register the lease as a 20k when in most instances the excess mileage plus 10k is cheaper?
Have asked this question of the lease co but not had an answer yet. It's a deal breaker for me as it seems cheaper to take the lower miles and pay the excess. There's no such thing as a free lunch so I expect to be disappointed..CYMR0 said:

That's a 12+23 deal though. The Seat Leon deal above looks better to me.http://www.tilsungroup.com/ford-focus-1.6-tdci-115...
Think they'd say no to 'nearly new' and they have a bizarre prejudice against the Golf and Leon...
Focus deal looks good although they do want parking sensors if they can. There is only one left, a white Zetec, rather than the Titanium which was available previously.
I think any combination of budget + monthly that comes in at £5,100ish would be fine: the attraction of leasing is handing back without commitment, rather than minimising cost per se.

Currently mulling over a Fiesta ST-3 @ £180 pm incl VAT 6+23 via G2L unless anyone knows of some better deals to be had?
Really does seem the one to beat (have been following ST/2/3 deals for a while now) - though that is only 8k miles. Not sure if anyone has had quotes for 10k from them? Nationwide Vehicle Contracts offer some competitive pricing on the ST too and you can get a real time quote as you tick options and increase mileage, etc. Chicane-UK said:

Had a quote for 10k pa for a few pound more a month, going into Evans Halshaw after work to bully them to get close to it on their PCP deal they're offering:http://www.evanshalshaw.com/brands/ford/ford-new-c...

I think this offer is for a pre-reg car - dunno if that makes any difference. Very tempted by a St-3 deal myself, took one out for a test drive on Saturday, and it did go pretty well and wasn't too busy / firm over SW London roads (no more than my current 135).http://www.evanshalshaw.com/brands/ford/ford-new-c...

Not really, I just want to see what they can do. Happy to lease, but want to keep my options open. How did it compare to the 135? As I've been looking at those too (M135i that is).

I know it says it's £152 per month, but it's 6+23, so the equivalent of about £138 on a 9+23, but this is a pretty high specification of car.

Mine is the 135 coupe (older shape) and to be honest the little ST didn't compare badly at all. Recaros are "tighter" than the BMW sports seats, more bolster. Ride was broadly the same or better on the ST. Obviously the ST is 100bhp or so down but it picked up well, seemed agile (possibly more) than the BMW. Wasn't as smooth an engine as the 6 cyl BMW, but seemed pretty smooth and linear in power delivery. Got up to 60 quickly and easily, and was quite quiet / refined (all things considered). Have driven the M135i, but it was a while ago - did seem a bit of a step up from my coupe, N55 engine and ZF 'box combo very impressive. How did it compare to the 135? As I've been looking at those too (M135i that is).

Just went ahead on a Zoe at £80 per month + £60 for the battery. £139 down + metallic paint cost. Works out at £166 per month which is way less than my current fuel bill so a big win
Who did you go with in the end and how many miles per year is that? I have an appointment to test one later and want to give them the best deal I can find to match.hursty999 said:

I ended up taking a Fiesta Red Edition due in Feb. Really very pleased with it. Easier to live with than the ST and still decent power output. £120/month & only £700 up-front for 2 years and an absolutely spanking deal but I know they are over now and so it might be a moot point. What I'm saying is it might be worth scouting around for that model still - or *shudder* the black edition which seems like marmite.
Last ST-3 Quote I got was from Smartlease. 1,853.42 up-front and £154.45/month on a 2yr term.

That's a good deal on the Fiesta, same figures as the standard Zetec S. I think the looks of the red and back editions are both a bit marmite though.
Yeah. It's essentially a Zetec S with a Paintjob that some think is a bit dodgy (I like the red, as you say many don't) and slightly stiffer suspension setup (no ST though) and 140bhp on tap rather than 125. Same 1.0 Turbo engine though. I think it's a nice balance - it'll be my first lease so looking forward to getting it now.Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
