Do new lease deals tend to come out at the start of the year?

Not really.. they come along pretty much all year round. That's certainly been the case this year, particularly with Mercedes-Benz. You just need to keep your eyes peeled constantly smile

Quarterly usually.

Campaigns are quarterly, although sometimes you'll get a good deal turn up towards the end of a quarter if the manufacturer wants a lump of registrations fast and has physical stock around them

I'm *hoping* there might be some newer deals/lower prices in Jan for Q4 and before the '15 plates come out.

Does it run calendar or tax years with regard to quarterlies?

I was told by Mercedes that new deals will be available in January for the first quarter.

Calendar year. Deals don't necessarily run to the end of a quarter also.

Well I took the plunge on an ST in the end, but didn't lease. I gave it a lot of thought but sauntered onto the used car lot at my local Ford dealer and found myself in front of a nice one, so hammered out a deal on Ford Options instead on a year old ST-2 with <10k on the clock. It seems a good deal overall (once it's all added up) as it means I'll have equity at the end should I want to get another car from them whereas with the leasing of course I'd walk away with nothing. The payments are comparable to what I would have paid leasing so I'm happy I think smile

Just nervous now. Never had such a new car before. Gulp. Best get looking into GAP insurance too just to be safe.

Hi, looking at these myself, if you'd wouldn't mind sending details of your deal through (and which dealer you used!) that would be great.

Still struggling to make up my mind between purchasing a 2009 Z4 or leasing a 125d Auto - got some more quotes today...

125d Auto in black 3+23 £250 pcm inc VAT (effective £270) or the same with 15k £285 (effective £308)

I really love the auto so this is seriously tempting...

Any options added on? It irritates me that the car doesn't come with any paint or parking sensors as standard

The only option I added is paint (black) - apparently white is the only standard colour.

they're not very comparable... sod the deals, which one do you WANT? I find it hard to believe you want a heavy, automatic, small diesel hatch over a Z4 otherwise why would it even be in the frame... i bet if you did the maths the Z4 would cost a lot less AND be more fun.

Shame the next great deal car (like M135i and Golf R) wasn't the M235i - anyone spotted any good prices on that one? Thank you

Is there any website that searches loads of companies for deals? Or do you just have to google leasing and do loads of leg work?

I have £300/month including deposit to play with (2year lease), but can't see any decent lease deals on cars like M135i or Golf R.
Not too bothered about mega mileage as it will be weekend car but has to petrol.
