Best lease car deals available?
Discussion
These might have already been mentioned, but here's a couple I've found on some 'interesting' metal:
Ford Fiesta ST-2 on a 6+23 deal at £179.99 inc VAT 8k mileage allowance.

VW Golf GTD on a 6+23 deal at £239.99 inc VAT 8k mileage allowance.

New to this leasing game, looking for some advice.
Looking for 3 cars for salespeople. (Fiesta or similar in size)
Must be low Co2 for tax reasons.
2 year deal.
Maintained.
12k miles per year.
PS - who normally pays the insurance in this situation the company or the staff?
Company does and its always 3rd party so IF they have any accidents then your company will be footing the repair bills and the hire car costs while its being repaired.Looking for 3 cars for salespeople. (Fiesta or similar in size)

We had an incident recently during the floods a car with 6 weeks to go on the lease it had 100k miles so 20k over drove through the flood ruined the engine turbo etc £5k damage and c£1k hire car costs plus £2k excess mileage fees.
Investigation took place but he was following other traffic at the same speed he was the sole car to be impacted as it turns out due to the air intake on Vauxhalls being very low so a OEM design flaw. Couldn't go down disciplinary route.
Given his annual lease costs were only c£4k a year for that sales rep it harmed his margin and resulted in just missing bonus..

Anywhere I've worked it's always been fully comp that the company provides, albeit usually with a reasonably high excess.SrMoreno said:

In the days when we had a 'fleet' it was always fully comp, can't imagine anyone insuring a new company car 3rd party. We eventually made company car users get their own insurance and reimbursed them through expenses, saved a few grand on a 12 car fleet of A4's. No more company cars, they're all on allowances now, except for me, run a 458 Italia as a pool car!!

3rd party seems a bit odd (I guess all down to the price!).
Why? If you're a massive outfit, paying somebody else to insure your cars seems an unnecessary cost. You're paying someone else to take a risk (and make a profit from that risk) that you can afford.Every large company I've worked for has self insured. I believe the police do as well (although that may be more due to difficulty in finding affordable insurance).
Welshbeef - try www.leasing4business.co.uk for your company cars. That's Lex Autolease the largest leasing company. Alternatively search for leasing brokers who sometimes have better discounts.
