Yeah thats what I was thinking. I'll most probably require just one oil change oner the 16k miles so I've decided to go for non maintained.

And then again, I've needed 3 new tyres on my E92 BMW this year - it's a bit of an insurance policy IMO - I didn't get the choice on the car I'm waiting to turn up.
You're not likely to wear any out over the course of 20k miles, so it's just punctures. Can't you get insurance to cover punctures?wemorgan said:
Yeah, sorry, that's the alphabet deal. Overlooked that the other one isn't 9+. Problem (for op) is that personal terms don't seem to be available....
On servicing, with our last 2 Mercs they have both needed rear tyres, and one service within 15k and 24 months. BMW deal adds £10/month on a 2 year deal so I'm thinking it's worth it.

Can't I just use part worn tyres if I've only got 1-2k miles left to do on the car?Problem (for op) is that personal terms don't seem to be available....

I have never got 20k out of a set of rear tyres on any BMW I've had.Sheepshanks said:

I can confirm that can work The fronts are easily good for another two winters and the rears maybe one, which would have made them even more cost effective, however they're 18" and the new car has 10" wheels.
Good luck with selling winter tyres ;-) I have set from SLK in my garage for second year. BTW, I did 23K on rears in SLK and changed them only because they were damaged on the side, not because of the wear. Also managed 19K in C63 and car was sold onwards by the dealer on the same set. So I wouldn't expect to change tyres within 20K mileage but that depends on driving style.

Coming to end of term on my current company car, and have been looking around for a big comfy bus for getting work stuff done.
Currently in a Nissan Pathfinder, and looking for something similar that doesn't shake, rattle and creak as much with a better dealer network.
Looking for some guidance, or suggestions for alternatives.
Lease profile would be 9 + 35, and circa 20k annually on a business lease, circa £400 p/m + VAT non-maintained.
I like the look of the new XC90, but seems to be a little out of my reach.
Any thoughts, or links would be appreciated.

Depends whether you need 7 seats or not, but some cracking deals on the VW Touareg Escape and R-line. Currently in a Nissan Pathfinder, and looking for something similar that doesn't shake, rattle and creak as much with a better dealer network.
