Best Lease Car Deals Available? (Vol 3)

Yeah, lets get the pitchforks!
The single-thread format of PH gives equal weight to deal posts and people posting questions/opinions about BIK and each other's lives or lack thereof. It's getting hard to find spot the deals in here, and even harder to hear about the good ones. But the converations that are in the strictest sense off topic keep it fresh and stop it dropping off the visible lists so when there are deals, they are in the latest update.
What's the average post rate on the wiki and the deals only thread?
How many good lease deals come through to market each day?

Very few good lease deals pop up each week, let alone each day. The *really* good deals seem to come about only 5 or 6 times a year. What's the average post rate on the wiki and the deals only thread?

If mikeg996 wants an index of current lease deals (admittedly the really special ones are often missing) then maybe try here

Having shopped around I'm about to agree to the following with Vanarama.
Audi A6 Avant Special Editions 2.0 TDI Ultra Black Edition 5dr S Tronic
3+23 @ £437.92 inc Vat with metallic paint included. £150.00 arrangement fee.
FWIW the best I've seen on this model (the 2wd not quattro) was £389pm / £4.7k pa. That's priced for 10k miles, but I'd have sucked up the excess. This was with Claris at the time, whose arrangement fee is/was £180inc.Audi A6 Avant Special Editions 2.0 TDI Ultra Black Edition 5dr S Tronic

At these prices it's almost certainly still better than PCPing an Audi, but would appreciate confirmation on that

Hi all,
Looking at:
Personal Leasing
£101.99 per month inc vat
Initial Rental
£2000.00 plus vat
For a new Polo GTI DSG 3dr.
5k, non maint.
from CUKVL
Just need some advice?
How soon do you pay the initial, and can you credit card it?
Who does everyone use for GAP insurance?
Thanks
If it comes from VW Financial Services, you pay initial payment after delivery, in about 2 weeks, by direct debit. Search PH for Gap. Looking at:

Usually a small deposit to confirm (ccard should be fine), then the initial payment (£2000 in your case) will be just before delivery to you, or at end of first month, depends on company/terms. If it's pre-delivery then ccard should be ok, have to ask the lease firm.
Loads of GAP places, but remember you need special lease/contract hire GAP not retail GAP. I used easygap.co.uk (£180 for 3 years GAP on a £100K M6 lease). Just make sure you read it all!

Don't have that initial lying about, could probably scrape it together in about 10 weeks.
Found a 1+23 which works out £500 more over the same time period but leaves me more spare cash right now, so may just do that.

Try ringing up CVL - see what their price is for 1+23.Don't have that initial lying about, could probably scrape it together in about 10 weeks.

£500 is a lot extra as all you are doing different is financing £2.2k over 23 months.

Nick Kealy at Bedford VW has a cancelled order
"I have just had a chap change his mind on colour and factory order a vehicle.
This means I have a physical vehicle en route to the UK and deliverable in September...
Tiguan R-Line 150ps DSG 4 Motion in Deep Black Pearlescent.
£2500 deposit, £240 per month (all inc. VAT) over 2 years with 5k per annum.
Volkswagen will put it on free release soon, this means that all retailers within the group will be able to see it so it will go!"

That's really not a great deal for the A6. The V6 272 can be had for not much more cash. 9+23 on £297pm, amortises to £413.23pm on 10k mileage here:

Agreed.https://www.contracthireandleasing.com/car-leasing...
Vanarama were one of the few places with stock when I was looking, but their prices weren't the best (probably linked ).
Claris had a very good deal which I signed up for, then cancelled when Audi couldn't manufacture, let alone deliver! Claris admin fee was £299 + VAT from memory.

So 1 + 23 came out at £197/month.
I added cruise and dynamic handling pack, so a little more, but very happy with that.
Can anyone offer me some advice (via PM if needed to avoid PH's name-and-shame rules), please?
Looking at 330e / C350e lease deals for the work fleet, and the following 3 lease agents seem to offer the best prices - all sub-£400 for 3yrs / 10k miles:-
- Gateway 2 Lease
- All Car Leasing
- Select Car Leasing
I've seen G2L crop up a lot on here, and can't recall any negative comments, but can't find much about the other two (PH's search engine isn't good enough to drill-down).
So any experiences, good or bad, would be welcome?
Thanks,
Martin.
