£275inc on a 6+23/10k. No fees.
I might have made a mistake if the facelifts drop much more, but I have a feeling that won't happen.
It's a similar price to the M135i from a couple of years ago, I think that started off at £250 on the same terms but was £280 or 90 by the time I'd added heated seats, parking sensors and cruise control.
Where did you get this deal from? Thanks. I might have made a mistake if the facelifts drop much more, but I have a feeling that won't happen.

I know the Q30 has been posted in 1.5 SE spec. This may be of interest to those looking for a hot hatch:

That's quite a good deal on Inifity Q30 if you want/like one. £6,266 for 8k miles pa (3+23). Automatic, 2.0 petrol engine 211bhp, AWD, parking sensors, cruise control, navigation, folding mirrors, heated front seats, keyless. Mercedes interior in different body shape. Cash price £30,380, not sure what discounts could be had and what's real price, as it's not featured on typical discount websites.

Their website is pants - could do with someone who understands users to rework it.If you go to the configurator the 2 litre 4x4 petrol is listed...

Its the intouch sport so is a 33.3k rrp car. Seems good to me. Black suits it the most too due to the black wheel arches which don't look great on the other colours. If I went for it I think I'd spec the £300 tints to make it look as sporty as possible and then I'd call it a day as it's specced very well. Can't work out what the city black pack actually adds for the 1.2k!Edited by PenelopaPitstop on Saturday 25th March 23:16

Mainly the reverse and all around view cameras.I think keyless entry also isn't standard in the 33k specced InTouch Sport..
Actually it's £31.7k.

Could someone kindly explain amortised to me ?
I have the following quote on a Cooper with Chilli pack
£627 down and the 35 x £209.09 8000 miles.
Just interested to see if this is an OK deal
thanks
Total cost (initial payment, monthlies and any fees) divided by total term gives you the amortised monthly cost.I have the following quote on a Cooper with Chilli pack
£627 down and the 35 x £209.09 8000 miles.
Just interested to see if this is an OK deal
thanks
In your case 627 + 7,318.15 / 36 = £220.70 amortised.

((35×209.09)+627)/36 = 220.07I have the following quote on a Cooper with Chilli pack

Its helpful for comparing deals with different deposits, to see which one works out best when you include all costs as a monthly figure

thanks very much for replying - that makes sense.
And what is the magic 25% people talk about ?
A 'good' deal is where the amount you pay over the term of the lease is calculated to be less than 25% of the RRP (or best available offer sale price.)And what is the magic 25% people talk about ?
The lease deal here is c. £8k. If the purchase RRP is £32k then it's exactly 25%. HTH

It is completely empirical but was something that helped me deciding whats 'hot' and whats not when I leased my own car last summerAnd what is the magic 25% people talk about ?
You can argue the toss about list price versus discount but as its completely arbitrary anyway I dont think thats important
For me 25% of list all in was good and 20% excellent over 2y for a decent mileage
Another way to decide is that if you bought the car at a 20% discount like the BMW 3 series I leased then what would it cost you over whatever term you decide to keep it. I worked out a 335d bought at a 10k discount and run for 4y would still be a worse deal than x2 2y leases after taking into account road tax, servicing and tyres which Id have needed to pay for if the car was my own. Thats non maintained by the way, I figure I may need an oil service if Im unlucky and drive it like I stole/leased it but deffo wont need tyres.
On the other hand I get to miss out on the experience of taking a car round various dealers for PX prices or putting it for sale in Autotrader and interacting with the public when its time to move on. Shame.......
